Our standard beginner lesson is 2.5 hour and teaches you the basics of how to handle the board, paddle out, and standing up on the board catching waves. It's up to you how many lessons you think you need but:

In a couple of hours you could be standing on your board....

After two or three days you will probably be able to do some basic turns on your board after catching the wave.....

After a week of solid instruction it is likely that you're riding the face of the green wave.

No matter how many lessons you decide to take - you will be having great fun surfing!
